Kindergarten registration is just around the corner. Our district-wide online registration begins March 1 here: https://www.murrayschools.org/
However, Parkside Elementary will conduct an in-person Kindergarten registration on March 23rd from 2:00-5:00 PM to collect the required documents mentioned below.
The Kindergarten registration process is simple:
- Register for Kindergarten online beginning March 1, AND come to your school’s registration day to submit official documents
- Bring the following: (1) your child’s original birth certificate, (2) two documents proving residency (must include parent(s) or guardian(s) name(s) and physical address), and (3) their original immunization record; we will make copies of each
Please remember that Kindergarten registration is for all children who will turn five years old on or before September 1, 2022. If your child is currently attending the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC), you still need to register with your school. All immunization records are due prior to school starting in the Fall.
Kindergarten assessments will be held August 15-19, 2022 and your school will contact you regarding a specific appointment date and time. If you have a child with special needs, please also contact the District Office Special Education Department (Kelli Kercher or Lisa Adair) at 801-264-7400.
